About Joey

I’m a stay-at-home momma (that’s right, I’m a woman!) who adores her hubby and usreddaughter so much I serenade them with Christmas songs. All. Year. Long. (And they’re awfully happy about it. Just look at those smiles! 🙂 )

I excel at eating chocolate and drinking BIG cups of coffee, but sadly must avoid gluten and dairy as much as possible. I’m not a friend of spiders or waterslides (don’t like them!), but I enjoy walking when the weather permits and dancing to ’80s music in my crazy colored socks in the living room during rainfalls and snowstorms. I’m terrified of biscuits in a tube (can’t stand the anticipation of the pop!) and driving in snow without four-wheel drive.

butterflyI love, love, love taking photographs. I’ve been known to grab my camera and run after butterflies, sneak up on unsuspecting flowers and inanimate objects, and zoom in to catch a glimpse of God smiling at my heart.

I’m longing for the day when I’ll see Jesus face to face and hug my grandparents again.  But in the meantime, I’m passionate about sharing God with the world through blogging, the stories I write (fiction and nonfiction), and speaking. I hope to please Him with every moment He’s given me breath.

Currently I’m blogging (as you can see 😉 ), writing fiction, and seeking representation for my second novel; my first novel is buried in a box in our dark basement, as the terrible thing should be. I’m looking forward to the plans God has for me…knowing He will be right there holding my hand.

I hope this blog blesses you in some small way. Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings to you,

Joey
